  • FEBRUARY 14, 2020

    B-DAY

    • Students who are planning to attend the Careers in Education Conference in March need to hand in the permission slips to Mrs. Harmon in the Counseling Center no later than today, Friday 2/14! 

     

    • Attention 10th graders!  EMCC applications are due to Mrs. Harmon in the Counseling Center by the end of the day today, Friday 2/14!

    The boys swimming team capped the year off with outstanding performances at the section 5 class b championships.

    Rami Yasin Jack Logothetis Gerald Porretta and Timmy Gellner got the team off to a great start with a 4th place finish in the 200 Medley Relay.   That same relay combination Placed 6th in the 400 free relay.

     

    Jack Logothetis placed 6th in the 100 yard breastroke and earned the Monroe County sportsmanship award.

     

    Gerald Porretta Placed 2nd in the 200 IM  and 1st in the 500 free. He also broke 3 school records, made 3 state cut times, and was named the Monroe County Division 3 swimmer of the year!

    GIRLS LACROSSE OPEN GYM and WORKOUTS

    Girls grade 9-12 workout every Tuesday and Thursday 9th grade class from 5:30-6:15, 10-12 grade classes from 6:15-7:00pm at High School Weight room. Open Gym on Sundays from 6:00-8:00pm at High School Freshman gym.

    Open Gyms Sunday’s 10am-12pm @EIMS & Friday Nights 7-9 @SOTAl  BOYS LAX

    Anyone interested in softball, there will be a meeting in room N6 at 2:45 on Tuesday 2/25.  Important information will be given at the meeting. 

     

    Any potential baseball player is invited to our voluntary workouts over break.  The dates are

    Sunday 2/16 9:30-11:30

    Wednesday-Friday 10-12

    Sunday 2/23 9:30-11:30

    Congratulations to the Varsity Cheerleading team for winning the County Championship last week and for winning Grand Champions at the HFL competition this week. Please come to support them at Sectionals tomorrow at RIT. They perform at 12:00pm

    African American History Month – Quote of the Day…

    Students who would like to play a Spring sport to go to the HO to check on the status of their physical.  Please do NOT wait or you would be late and would not participate.

     

    The Annual Dodgeball Tournament will be held this year on Wednesday, 3/4 after school.  We are looking eight teams to compete for ultimate dodgeball glory.  Each team must have six members with a teacher captain, and two of your team members must be girls.  Please see Ms. Mead or Mr. Doyle for team sign-up sheets.

    All three Women's basketball team came away with the win.

     Modified vs Arcadia and JV and Varsity vs Wayne.

    all three teams fought back from being behind to finish with the win.

     Congrats to everyone.

    Now for the Jv Lady lancer recap the scoring was big with Maddie Harisis ending up with 16 but bigger yet Grace Devlin came away with 17.

    Madyson Fizer added 9 while Nevaeh Bunch put up 5 . Samarra Camacho scored for 4 while Katie Hanss controlled the rebounds hit a bucket in the 4th to seal the deal.

    Up next JV and Varsity are at Arcadia 4:15 start time grab your friends get a ride and show your support . Our fans Rule!!!!!!!!
